What Happened?
On 28th July 2025, our Army, CRPF, and J&K Police did one big operation called Operation Mahadev near Harwan (Srinagar). In this mission, they killed 3 Pakistani terrorists hiding in the forest. One of them, Suleiman Shah, was the main person in the Pahalgam attack that happened on 22 April 2025, where 26 innocent people were killed.
Who Were They?
The 3 terrorists killed were – Suleiman Shah (also known as Hashim Musa), a former Pakistan Army commando, Abu Hamza, and Yasir. Suleiman had a ₹20 lakh reward for information. He and Yasir were involved in the Pahalgam killings. They were planning another big attack in Jammu & Kashmir. Our forces stopped it just in time.
What Forces Found & What Families Said
After the fight, our forces recovered AK-47 guns, carbine rifles, 17 grenades, and more weapons. This was a big win for our security forces. The families of Pahalgam victims said, “This is just the start. We want full end of terror.” Today, India got justice. We salute our brave soldiers 🙏🇮🇳
